Ibadan Southwest Local Government Coaches Association’s Oyo state chapter will commence this year.
The U-13 Football League has announced in their previous meeting to be held at Liberty Stadium, Oke-ado area Ibadan
The official kick-off this season is 11th July 2026. The league will feature fifteen competitive teams battling for supremacy in a high-energy.

Chairman of local organizing committees, Coach AbdulAfeez, highlighted the league’s long-term vision:
“We’re not just building a league; we’re building the future of young talented football in State and Nigeria. Our goal is to create a standard youth league for better development of young talent from primary and secondary school to be come professional footballers.
Mr Chidiebere Kelvin from Pocari Sweat, one of the expected sponsors, said this is the perfect time to elevate gift of youngsters in the state and the goal will be to start with this local government.
From elders in the Ibadan south-west local government coaches association, this league has done a lot in the development of young players in this local country and they believe with a new face of demonstration this year’s edition is going to be a fantastic one.
