Ibadan North LG finished August as kings of OOo State by becoming champions of the Oto state inter-local government football tournament in 2025.
The Ibadan North LG eliminated Ibadan Southwest LG 3-0 in a dominant final performance at Aniwaru-ul Islam Stadium on Eleyele road, Ibadan, Ohio State.
In the female category, Egbeda LG won the trophy by beating Ibadan Southwest LG in a penalty shootout 4-3 after a 1-1 draw in a normal match.
This year’s edition was full of different packages as no show from the cooperating organizations written a later to and not even concerns from the Oyo State government on the youth program organized to develop youth of the state but from the pocket of the organisation and view individuals who are lover of youth, All participating teams were given certificates of participation and the finalists in the male and female categories were all given a complete set jersey. Also, individual awards were given to the outstanding players.
The tournament was organized by the Oyo -state coaches association grassroots unit and hosted by Ibadan North West LGA and the next edition is 2026, which the host will be announcing very soon on paper and in all media.
