  • NPFL 22: 9mint Early goal instant Remo Fourth away win

    After remo securing wins in their last six games, Remo destroyed sunshine yesterday with two goals to one. The first goal came from A. Young Oyowah at 9mint of the game, while the second goal later came from A.I. Abubakar at 29mint and at 67mint sunshine managed to score a goal, which came from S. Mathew.

    The away win yesterday made him his fourth away match.
    Other games for this Sunday and Monday in the NPFL MatchDay 22 will see Nasarawa United hosting Niger Tornadoes. Heartland vs Rivers United and Abia Warriors vs Akwa United. All these matches will be played by 16::00 today and by 15:00 Kano Piller is taking Bayelsa, while Plate United is hosting the unbeaten Shooting Stars today.

  • Mohamed Salah ranks sixth in the Premier League’s all – time leading scorers list. How did it start?

    Mohammed Salah from Egypt joined Swiss side Basel in 2012. During his time with the club, Salah played a total of 95 games for Basel, scoring a total of 21 goals. Mohammed left Basel for Chelsea, becoming the first ever Egyptian player to play with Chelsea. He made 19 appearances for Chelsea. with just two goals

    In 2015, Salah moved to fiorentina on loan. On 3 August 2016, Roma announced the signing of Salah on a permanent deal for €15 million. He scored a total of 65 goals from 2015 to 2017. Salah returned to the Premier League in July 2017 after signing to play for Liverpool 7 years ago and scored l78.
    With 178 goals, the Egyptian has now overtaken Frank Lampard to go sixth in the Premier League’s all-time leading scorers list.

    And the record set by an Egyptian, who is the only player in Europe’s Top 5 Leagues to have scored or assisted over 40 goals in all competitions:

  • Chris Wood goal statistic

    Apart from the record made by Chris Wood, in 2019 /2020 and 2023 / 2024, he scored 14 goals for Nottingham Forest in a single campaign. This brilliant player has also continued that this season by scoring 17 goals with a hat trick in a match today which the league is yet to finish, competing with Collymore who scored 22 goals for Nottingham Forest in the 1994-1995 season.

    Chris Wood scored a hat trick to move to 17 goals in the Premier League campaign. Only Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah (19) and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (18) are stopped wood to be the highest goalscorer in the EPL this season as at today, 1stFebruary 2025
