12 ALIVE and Youngstars match today on the 15th of February at Olubadan stadium, Iyagakaku was had. After a little time, 12alive recorded the first goal of the season through a tailored connecting kick which beat the Young Stars keeper.

The second half resumes and the Young Stars come out firing from all cylinders as they earn a free kick on the fringe of the penalty box now.

The Ibadan Football council (IFC) Pre-season Seminar was held. Today, the 8th of February 2025, this will bring out the best from coaches, players and team administrators, as seminars are a challenge to equipping coaches, players and team officers with good knowledge of how to handle issues related to the development of athletes. One of the sources, Mrs Ibukunoluwa Otesile, lead consultant, declared that the development of athletes should not focus resources on sport or football only, but total ways of life because. Life of athletes begins after their career is finished
And she itemized five domains of development, which are
1) physical
2) Cognitive
3) Emotional
4) Social
5) Ethical and Moral
She further explained that creating a safe and supportive environment and balancing training with life skills will help enable us to do stable sportsmanship and well manage leagues. Her teachers are so dynamic that all the participants left with no option to stand up and start clapping.

On the second. Presentation by Former Green Eagles and shooting stars sports Club (3sc) Dr Felix Owolabi Akinloye MON, who was one of the people’s sources in his statement, stated that work, discipline and diligence play key roles in shaping the future of footballers. He furthers his discussion by encouraging coaches to enlighten the athletes on what to take and why they were going to matches, and shared his experience on two occasions when he was removed from matches due to taking poundo yam (Iyan in yoruba) on his way to the match and getting malaria drugs to take during the National camp. Dr Felix Owolabi declared,” I don’t believe there’s a juju in football. Having a good wheel and perfect drive will help, said his role model was late pele of Brazil.

The IFC chairman , Mogaji Rotimi Ali, appreciates people’s resources and chief, Mutiu Adepoju, also known as headmaster, for their contribution to sports development. He further stated that his focus was to have a well-managed league and this year’s league first prize would move from two hundred thousand naira to one million, why other participants would go home with something reasonable.

In his goodwill message, chief Mutiu Adepoju, headmaster of Super Eagles fame, lauded the management board of Ibadan Football Council (IFC) headed by Mogaji Rotimi Ali for the convening of the seminar.

He said using the head to score goals isn’t like juju but constant practice with a desire to score goals right from secondary school.
