LeBron was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio, U.S.
By his mother, Gloria James, who gave birth to him when she was just 16 years of age as a single mother. LeBron’s father, Michael Wise, the Washington Post, reports who was in prison at the time he was born. This made LeBron have a tough childhood. My mother was poor and left with no option other than LeBron to stay with his grandmother.
