  • As a coach, what should I check?

As a coach, what should I check?

All over the world now, everybody starts jumping into coaching jobs once they get access to a whistle and little place to gather athletes for training in which that has had bad effects on our athletes’ performance, mostly in Africa, although in Africa we don’t have enough equipment, but bad coaching is told in our out put.

Firstly, let me quickly run than to the types of coach we have.

    Career coach

Career coaches are types of coaches that help athletes identify their professional goals and make the best career decisions for their lifestyle.

    Life or personal coach

They are types of coaches who help athletes clarify their priorities. I.e. identify a particular area the athletes are good at and improve their skills . Let me use football as example, some players have strong strength is long throwing etc. as life or personal coach take time to study that.

    Business coaches
A business coach is a set of coaches who run their coaching team on the mission and vision of their daily income, which I see is common in my own country, Nigeria.

Performance coaches are the set of coaches who help athletes better understand the requirements of their chosen careers, which are sports ethics and discipline.

As a coach, you need to look into your coaching and identify the type of coach you are whether it is a bad or good coach.

    Qualities of a good coach
Honesty : tell them the hard truth in any condition and let your yes be yes and your now be no

Strong Communication :The ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely, provide .

Active listening requires you to listen attentively to a speaker, understand what they’re saying, respond and reflect on what’s being said, and retain them.

Knowing the athlete by understanding their athletes’ emotions, strengths, and the ins-and-outs of their development.

Commitment to the job and each of the athletes, going beyond coaching but being supportive.

Knowledge of a good coach most good knowledge of the job and every athlete is different. One athlete may love physical while another needs more.

Motivation skills :great coach is one who can help motivate and inspire their athletes.

Be positive: A positive attitude is not about hiding the ugly truth or always smiling. It’s about showing your client .etc

What are the qualities of a bad coach?

Bad coaches provide more criticism than positive feedback.

    A sole focus on winning.
    Chooses favourites.

Pressures players to play when injured.

Does not listen to athlete feedback.

    Denying athletes water breaks

    Repeatedly belittling them.

As today’s game is the first for the Belgian club, Union Saint -Gilloise , the team proved their present with a 3-1 away win over PSV, where Promise Oluwatobi David set a record as the first player from the club to score in UCL. What a brilliant result for the team. Unions SG football club was founded in 1897 and the name of the club’s stadium is Joseph Marien, which was established in 1920.

40 minutes to start of this year’s UEFA Champions League check through details and Arsenal line-up

After months and months of eagerness, the Champions League is back—with the second iteration of the extended league phase that replaced the old-style group stage.

UEFA were too smart to initiate a change of format a success in the aftermath of its conclusion earlier this year, although some will continue to raise debate over the excessive demands that are being put on players.

It is clearly understood that 36 participating teams are in for another eight-game slog that will only eliminate a third of the competition, with the knockout playoff round offering salvation for potentially those that underperform during the initial phase, as eventual champions Paris Saint Germany did last term.

The first week’s game is scheduled a little differently to the rest, with 18 games played over three days, as opposed to two. Thus, we can kick back for the entire midweek and enjoy the finest club competition on earth playing out its traditional mayhem.

As activities begin, there are a lot of great clubs are going to face each other, today and tomorrow such as

    What’s the problem?
    👍 The Players
    ❤️ The Coach

I think Amorin should review this pattern 3-4-2-1 and think of the traditional way Manchester played in the past, because the two holding midfielders can be outnumbered, but that did not happen at Etihad Stadium because Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo, who were playing either side of Benjamin Sesko, dropped in.1 day ago.

People think what causes Manchester United’s downfall is
    The Renovation of Old Trafford

A drastic decision by the club that has spent the most money on signings (€1.46 billion) since Ferguson’s departure in 2013. In addition, there is the disproportionate spending on salaries, which, as Ratcliffe admitted, is hindering the reconstruction of Manchester United. Although this might be one of the problems, Manchester has not properly taken careers in the scouting department since Sir Alex left, because great players have contributed to past glories of United being scouting from a non-competitive league in Europe.
Although Utd are improving even if results don’t show it (yet)

Because history tells us that football is a simple game: the more a team creates lots of good chances up front and allows few bad ones at the back, the more success they have in the long-term. But in the era where United are doing better, most of their goals come from ball crossing, which is United’s traditional way of playing.

The 27-year-old has become the latest to don the famous jersey, taking it on from Emile Smith Rowe, who departed for Fulham in 2024.

Ebere Eze words after becoming the new number 10 for Arsenal.
It’s a privilege and an honor, because I know the names that have worn this shirt before me. For me, as I said, I see this opportunity as something that’s like a blessing.

Taking it on from Jack Grealish

Rayan Cherki: “I prefer to play No.10 but right now I just want to play. Where I am on the pitch is not important, I just want to be on the pitch and help the team to win.

The higher the ambitions, the more you feel obligated to set the bar high and work very hard to reach it. So, I have no limits. I’m following my plan, and I hope to achieve my goals one day. I think I am ready…”

Number 3 on the list is Alexis Mac Allister, an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool and the Argentina national team.

Number 4 on the list, James Daniel Maddison, is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the England national team.

The 28-year-old James Maddison has taken on the No. 10 shirt at Tottenham Hotspur since Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich. Signed by Leicester City in June.

James Maddison: “I didn’t want the number 10 shirt to become free, to be honest, because that meant one thing. So I was definitely not waiting for the number 10 shirt.

“I’m never going to say no, I love pleasure. “

“I didn’t want Harry to leave, but when he did leave and the number 10 shirt became free and the club asked me, then, of course, I wanted to wear it. It’s my favorite number. I’ve got it tattooed on me. I loved that number growing up as a kid, so I was never going to say no.

The number 5 on the list is Matheus Santos Carneiro da Cunha, who is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward, attacking midfielder, or winger for Premier League club Manchester United and the Brazil national team.

The 26-year-old inherited jersey number 10 from Marcus Rashford, who wore United’s No 10 shirt after Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Matheus Cunha says it is a “privilege” and “a dream” to be given the number 10 shirt at Manchester United.

“It’s something that you always dream about,” said Cunha. “I can mention many players that use this shirt.” It’s so easy for me.
Of course, I think the one I always think about when I see this number in this shirt was Wayne Rooney.

The number 6 on the list is Cole Palmer. Cole Jermaine is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team, but he has Afro-Kittitian descent on his father’s side of the family. Palmer is delighted to have received a favored number, saying of those that have acted as role models in his bid to become a superstar 10 in his own right: “Messi, the big one, Rooney and players like that.” It’s just an iconic number. I wore No. 10 all my life growing up, and I just like the number.
