Ibadan football council league last weekend soccer review:

It was anything but business as usual in the Ibadan football council league last weekend and this week some of the biggest clubs in Ibadan dropped points while others labored to claim their championship. The new starlets went into the Match No. 18 fixture at Olubadan Stadium main bowl, Iyaganku Area Ibadan, desperate for a win to ensure they top league the season with momentum, and they got their winning goal in the first -half from Ajileye Sarafa.

After a bright start from both sides, the outstanding performance from Azeez to score a goal for 12Alive fc at 41 minutes crowned 12Alive winner of the game between them and TEAF fc, but the team struggled to get back until the last whistle.

As fantastic as the game between Sdk fc vs Elite Sporting and Karim Adeyemi fc vs Abuola Babes ended goalless, although both matches were full of momentum and energy.

The match between Saki United and Police Baton FC ended in a 2-2 draw. There were fantastic moments from both sides, but an 11mint goal from Vincent Taiwo from Police Baton gave Saky United a game challenge and Muftau Razaq’s 21-minute goal gave them the match balance. At 48 minutes of the second half, Michael Ochidi scored another goal for the police, making the tempo of the game very high at 70 minutes. In the game, Adeshine Toreeq scored for Saki United and the game went balanced till 90mint.

It was just the tonic game between soccer ambassadors fc and Unibadan. There was brilliant momentum from both teams. The soccer Ambassadors FC got their goals 8 minutes into the first half by Mutiu Olayinka. The union kept mouthing pressure and got their goal 65 minutes away. This made the game end in a draw.

Surprising match : VIA FA 6 VS 1 DRAGON FURY FC

VIA is always in this section. Their commitment to entertaining the football masses is hugely appreciated. They were lucky to score four goals in the first half of the game, then Dragon Fury fought back to earn a goal. The VIA players felt extremely hardworking to score another two goals in the second half. The goalscorers are scorers: VIA

Youngstar were the perfect example of this, playing so wretchedly in the first half against FC Peridots and falling behind with a goal from Lateef Olanrewaju in 8 minutes of the game. The first half ended in favor of FC Peridots with the introduction of the new players. In the second half from youngsters with a level of maturity from some of the young players, parades by FC periodots and a goalkeeper error cost them dearly two goals within 64 and 65 minutes. Luckily for them, a wonderful movement from the capital of team Abass gave them a fought-back free kick taken by Martins Olowoyo in the 78th minute resulted in a goal to make the game a draw. • The young Nigerian players who started well but who never became king of football

The young Nigerian players who started well but who never became king of football

Macauley Chrisantus, in the u17 World Cup, scored seven goals in seven matches to collect the golden boot at the u17 World Cup 2007. With this success, everybody thought it had a bright future, but his senior career was dramatic compared to his colleague who collected bronze at the same tournament, Toni Kroos.
Immediately after the tournament, Chrisantus’ agent arranged him an eduction visa to Germany, where he had the opportunity to play for Hamburg’s youth team in the 2007/08 season. When he turned 18 in August 2008, he was promoted to join the senior team. After that, he was loaned to Kartstruther SC and FSV Frankfurt in Germany since their move to fvs Laspalmas in Spain’s shunga division in 2012, where he had 66 appearances with 20 goals. Now he will be 35 years old in August 2025, playing in Italy’s Serie D. What do you think is responsible for that?

In the 2009 u17 World Cup, the Golden Ball for the Best Player was given to Nigerian Sani Emmanuel. Emmanuel’s youth career started with Bodens BK 2009–2010 and Lazio 2010–2012, later promoted to the senior side of Lazio in 2012 where he played a 2year move on loan to Salernitana 2012, then loan again to FC Biel-Bienne.
2013, after going to Beitar Jerusalem in 2014 and Oskarshamns AIK 2015 had a total of 16 appearances and 6goals. In all teams. After leaving Oskarshamns, AIK had a trial at Bosnian side, FK Sarajevo, but failed in his attempt. And since then, Emmanuel has been forced to quit football. Compared to who was given the Golden Shoe that year, although both were tied for five goals, Spaniard Borja González Tomás is currently at
    Granada.

Kelechi Nawakali won the golden boot at the 2015 u 17 World Cup. Initially, the young outstanding players were signed by Arsenal in 2016 for €3.5m, later loaned out to MV Maastricht and fc port team b, on July 20, 2023, was sold to Chaves from Without Club for €250k but currently with Barnsley since Aug 12, 2024 which conditions of movement are not indicated. Compared to his colleague Victor Osimhen, who collected the Golden Shoe with ten goals that year, Victor, who started for VfL Wolfsburg from 2017 to 2019 in 2020, landed in Napoli had 108 appearances and 65 goals, and is currently on loan to Galatasaray. What is your opinion on the causes of the poor achievement?

Let’s flash our memory back to the 2005 U20 World Cup when two Nigerians happened to be second and third best to the world’s best players, but later world records never brought any of them near him. All this has given me a lot of sleepiness night. What actually causes later poor performance. Maybe we are black, or we are not given opportunities as black ?
    Please, I need people’s opinion.

Niger got talent meet two wonderful players

Nigeria got Talllect meet 15 years old Nigerian descent Alabi Sam🇳🇬 that became the first youngest player from Newcastle academy to train with Newcastle senior team under coach🤵 Eddie Howe.

Alabi🇳🇬 is extremely highly rated as one of the best midfielders in Newcastle academy..

Meet Oguniyi Oluwatimilehin Abiodun aka omo Jesus. This wonderful Talllect born on 20 December 2001, is currently the captain of Fc Auda. This unique left-leg player was an attacking midfielder from youth. Oguniyi is a perfect player who has an individual skill of making decisive passes break through the defensive line and has good ball handling to control the tempo of the game with the unspeakable dribbling skill that I experienced during his game for Nigeria at the u23 qualifying game in Adamasingba stadium.
I think this is what the national team have been missing since the retirement of Augustine Azuka “Jay-Jay” Okocha, a single player that can drive attacking with ex-ordinary skill of dribbling.

Football drama at emirate fa cup 2007/08

The drama that happened in the FA Cup quarter-final match Manchester against Portsmouth on 8 March 2008, when Manchester United first choice Edwin van der Sar left the pitch with a groin injury and was then replaced by Tomasz Kuszczak. After a short while, Tomasz was sent off after conceding a penalty and Rio Ferdinand had to take over in glove to keep penalty against sulley Murtari which lead Portsmouth to the semi-final. To be very honest, Manchester was so unlucky with the number of chances they got.
