The 31st edition of FIBA AfroBasket draw for the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket will take place on Saturday 19 April in Luanda, Angola, the FIBA Regional Office for Africa has announced.

Nigeria qualify for the 31st edition of the FIBA AfroBasket, men’s along side with The 16 teams that will be competing at this year’s FIBA AfroBasket from 12-24 August have been confirmed, with some teams securing their places on the final day of qualifying. D’Tigers beat Cape Verde 77-62 at the Grand Hall Arena in Tripoli, Libya to qualify. Teams have 169 days to prepare for the 2025 edition of the AfroBasket, set to be hosted by former champions Angola for the fourth time between 12 and 24 August.

OUSMANE DRAME
The 33-year-old Guinea player scored 19 points and added 10 rebounds in just over 31 minutes on the floor in the match.

KARIM MANE, the 24-year-old Cameron, scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Angola’s star boy, CHILDE DUNDAO, did wonderfully, made 5-of-9 from behind the arc, added four in the paint and was 8-of-9 from the charity stripe to finish with 31 points.

CALEB AGABA is a wonderful Nigerian boy in FIBA AFROBASKET 2025 QUALIFIERS, scoring 23 points in a single game.

SIRIMAN KANOUTE did very well at the Fiba Afro basketball qualifier for the 2025 Afro basketball qualifier with 23 points, shooting 7-of-9 from the field and adding two three-pointers and 7-of-8 from the charity stripe.
