Ibadan North LG finished August as kings of Oyo State by becoming champions of the Oyo state inter-local government football tournament in 2025.
The Ibadan North LG eliminated Ibadan Southwest LG 3-0 in a dominant final performance at Aniwaru-ul Islam Stadium on Eleyele road, Ibadan, Ohyo State.
In the female category, Egbeda LG won the trophy by beating Ibadan Southwest LG in a penalty shootout 4-3 after a 1-1 draw in a normal match.
This year’s edition was full of different packages. All participating teams were given certificates of participation and the finalists in the Borge male and female categories were all given a complete set jersey. Also, individual awards were given to the outstanding players.
The tournament was organized by the Oyo state coach association grassroots unit and hosted by Ibadan North West LG.
